“The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant.”(Max DePree)
According to the Holy Bible, “He who serves is the greatest among you.”

Thoughts on Love

Immature love says: ‘I love you because I need you.’ Mature love says ‘I need you because I love you.’
(Erich Fromm)
Find something you love to do and chase it like an Olympian chases a gold medal. It’s the pursuit of life’s greatness reward, contentment with who you are and what truly makes you happy!

Take some chances

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” (Mark Twain)
I have nightmares sometimes about missed opportunities. Pursuing a dream or opportunity can be scary, but those who achieve greatness overcome those fears. I had an opportunity to purchase an Authentic New Orleans Basket company which made and shipped New Orleans goodies all over the world. I let a friend talk me out of purchasing the company. Said company is flourishing right now as I write this entry. That company would have employed 10 people and taken me around the world every day! Don’t sleep on your dreams and opportunities people.
