Dr. Oten’s leadership in DEIB initiatives is especially distinguished. As the former President and Associate Publisher of P&L Publishing Group, he was instrumental in the success of influential publications such as Diversity MBA, Black MBA, and Black IT Magazine. He also served as President and Head of Marketing & Sales for Global Diversity and Voice of Inclusion Magazine and held a key directorial role at IMDiversity.com and The Black Collegian Magazine—solidifying his reputation as a national voice in multicultural and inclusive professionalism.

In addition to his DEIB work, Dr. Oten brings over a decade of experience in property management, where he has overseen all operational facets with excellence and integrity. His project management portfolio includes successfully leading multi-million-dollar initiatives across diverse industries, consistently delivering results through vision, execution, and strategic foresight.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Dr. Oten earned a wartime badge for his service during Operation Desert Storm. His military background reflects the same values he brings to his professional work—discipline, courage, and commitment.
