Face reality

A character in a Tyler Perry movie once said, “When people
show you who they are the first time, BELIEVE THEM!” One
can waste so much time and energy over a lifespan, that in hindsight
it’s almost insane. If the girl you are dating now cheated
on her previous boyfriend and has already cheated on you, she
is letting you know, in certain terms – not uncertain terms – that
she is UNFAITHFUL.
I would like to see every young person spend one to two years
on a university or college campus, but the reality is some may not
be college material. Some are better served going to a trade school
to learn and develop a skill that will pay the bills.
Facing reality is one of the most difficult hurdles in attaining
an executive mentality. Stop frustrating yourself with family
squabbles or disputes. They love Sally and Johnny more than they
love you. They prove it to you time and again by helping with their
education and not yours; helping with the raising of their children
not yours; building up their self-esteem and confidence not yours.
Ladies, if he really wants you, he will make it happen. How can
you tell if he wants you? The scriptures states, “For where your
treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21) “Again,
the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a
man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that
he has and buys that field.” (Matthew 13:44) If he wants you, his
money and resources will be with you. He will help you further
your education and help elevate your quality of life.

him shine.” Alecia Moten
When you are able to turn the corner and accept these facts you
will be facing reality, my friend.

magnify in your life.” Frederick Douglas
