“The other key contributor to great leadership is a desire for progress. Progress means a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage; developmental activity in science, technology, etc., especially with reference to the commercial opportunities created thereby or to the promotion of the material well-being of the public through the goods, techniques, or facilities created; advancement in general. This is where it may get interesting for some of you, Steve Jobs the late CEO of Apple in Silicon Valley is considered a great leader and I agree! Early on in his development as a leader no one would have suspected he was concerned about people’s happiness. From all I have read about his life he was very rude and obnoxious. He built Apple into the most valued company in the world estimated at $350 billion. He invented and re-invented himself into one of the great minds of his generation.”
